Nuremberg is the forthcoming historical drama flick, which is adapted from Jack El-Hai's 2013 novel The Nazi and the Psychiatrist.

As the title suggests, the film touches upon the Nuremberg trial after the Second World War. The film is written and directed by James Vanderbilt and is slated for release on November 7, 2025. Its official synopsis, as per IMDb, is as follows:

"A WWII psychiatrist evaluates N*zi leaders before the Nuremberg trials, growing increasingly obsessed with understanding evil as he forms a disturbing bond with Hermann Göring."

"I knew about the trials, and I sort of knew what happened historically. I read an article by Jack El-Hai that he was using as a book proposal to sell the book. I was familiar with his work because there was something else of his that we were developing. So, I got to read the proposal early, and I think it was the quickest I said yes to anything."
