Omniscient Reader: The Prophecy features an apocalypse where the gods are punishing people for turning evil, and the latter's time has come to an end. There are sections, and within those, people are thrown into challenges that they need to overcome to survive.

Yoo Jung-hyeok becomes selfish over time as his people start getting k*lled. But he realizes that he will have to team up with someone to defeat the fire dragon. Meanwhile, Kim Dok-ja has been tirelessly trying to save as many people as he can. He comes across Yoo and they work together to survive the scenarios as the gods want everyone to kill each other.

On the fifth day of the event at the Chungmuro Station, Omniscient Reader: The Prophecy nearly reaches its ending. The gods decide to change the rules as they realize Dok-ja has found a loophole in the system to save everyone. There's a singular green box for more than 50 survivors. Dok-ja decides to team up with Ji-hye to break the green box and convince everyone to fight back.

Dok-ja and his team manage to defeat the fire dragon. Jung-hyeok looks at them fighting bravely, and it changes his heart. He joins them and fights with full force. He goes on to confront the dragon and breaks its core shell. But in the process, he dies due to burn injuries. This also leads to the end of human life on Earth as everyone starts to disintegrate. A person provides Ether of Faith to Dok-ja. He realizes that this person is the author of the apocalypse book.

Dok-ja then levels up and pierces through the dragon's core with his sword. This instantly eliminates the dragon, and he gets a No Killing skill in return. Dok-ja uses it to revive Jung-hyeok. Everyone is saved in the end, and they return to Earth. An epilogue features Mr. Han reaching the Chungmuro Station and telling everyone that people at Geumho Station have been k*lled. He also warns of more monsters approaching them.
