The Pittsburgh Film Critics Association has officially announced the winners of its film awards for the previous year. It was the group's second annual voting cycle since its formation in 2023. The results were decided by a 15-member voting body.

Pittsburgh Film Critics Association Awards' 2024 winners were as follows,

  • Best picture: The Substance (Winner)
  • Best lead actor: Colman Domingo, Sing Sing (Winner)
  • Best supporting actor: Ariana Grande, Wicked (Winner)
  • Best featured actor: Jesse Plemons, Civil War (Winner)
  • Breakthrough performance: Clarence Maclin, Sing Sing (Winner)
  • Best animated voice performance: Lupita Nyong’o, The Wild Robot (Winner)
  • Best director: Robert Eggers, Nosferatu (Winner)
  • Best original screenplay: Justin Kuritzkes, Challengers (Winner)
  • Best adapted screenplay: Clint Bentley, Greg Kwedar, Clarence Maclin, John “Divine G” Whitfield, Sing Sing (Winner)
  • Best cinematography: Jomo Fray, Nickel Boys (Winner)
  • Best editing: Marco Costa, Challengers (Winner)

The 2025 Pittsburgh Film Critics Association Awards' winners' list was led by Ryan Coogler's Sinners. It was the most awarded title of the year with nine wins in total at the 2025 Pittsburgh Film Critics Association Awards. The film bagged awards for best picture, best director, and other notable categories.

Pittsburgh Film Critics Association's official website reads,

"Established in 2023, the Pittsburgh Film Critics Association arose from a collective vision among the city's critics to carve out a distinct space within the industry. We passionately champion cinematic excellence, celebrating both established auteurs and emerging talents who enrich the entertainment landscape."
