Rachel Lynn Matthews is turning heads on the internet with the Katy Perry space-inspired Halloween costume. The look drew plenty of attention online, especially as it came while rumors of her dating Katy Perry's ex, Orlando Bloom, continue to grow.

Perry and Bloom started dating in 2016 and got engaged three years later. However, the couple parted ways earlier this year, bringing their relationship to an end. As of now, Bloom is rumored to be dating Rachel Lynn Matthews, an American actress famous for Happy Death Day and Upgraded.

Rachel Lynn Matthews first uploaded the images of her wearing Katy Perry's Blue Origin rocket costume, paired with a wig, on her own Instagram account. As for her rumored boyfriend, Orlando, he dressed up as a skeleton for Halloween.

In another photo, uploaded by Matthews on her Instagram story, she was seen kissing the ground. The caption of the photo read:

"TAKE UP SPACE!!"

The picture appeared to recreate Katy Perry’s moment after she came back to Earth. Sharing her experience at that time, Katy added:

"This experience is right, is second to being a mom."

Perry shares one daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom, with Orlando Bloom. Rachel's Halloween look has since gone viral, with the internet sharing mixed reactions to her choice of costume, especially given the ongoing dating rumors.

Katy Perry hints at her breakup with Orlando Bloom in her new song

While Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have not publicly talked about the reason behind their split after dating for nearly ten years, a source said, as per Fox News:

"They got to a point where they feel there is no going back to a healthy relationship and that it’s better to live separate lives."

However, fans are speculating that Perry has hinted at their breakup in her newly released song titled "Bandaids," with its music video being uploaded on November 7. At the start of the music video, Perry is seen washing the plates, with her ring, which was kept on the side, suddenly falling into the sink.

The lyrics of the song go like:

"Hand to God I promise I tried / There’s no stone left unturned / It’s not what you did, it’s what you didn’t / You were there but you weren’t."

Continuing the lyrics, she sings:

"Got so used to you letting me down / No use tryna send flowers now/ Telling myself you'll change, you don't / Band-Aids over a broken heart."

The song also talked about taking the medications and bringing down the expectations before singing:

"On the bright side, we had good times / Never faked our pictures/ We were perfect 'til we weren't / Now we've got too many splinters."

The song ends on a good note, with Katy confessing she'd fall for the same person again if life repeated itself.

Talking about the song, she wrote on Instagram:

"tbh I struggled for months with the idea of putting this song out… even after all these years it can be scary to be vulnerable… but hopefully the lyrics of this song resonate with someone going through what I have been through and maybe they won’t feel so alone and will find the strength to keep going like I have ❤️‍🩹"
