Diane Keaton passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 79 in Los Angeles.
The actress started her career with a Broadway musical in 1968 and went on to star in several films for the next five decades. Keaton was bestowed with several awards, including an Oscar, two Golden Globes, and a BAFTA Award. She was also nominated for a Tony and an Emmy (on two occasions).

Annie Hall is often considered by many to be one of the most popular films of Keaton's career. She played the titular protagonist in this 1977 Woody Allen-directed romantic dramedy. Allen and his writer, Marshall Brickman, famously wrote the role specifically for Keaton. It remains a must-watch film even after many years.

3) The Godfather (1972)
Any list related to cinema and Diane Keaton is not complete without mentioning The Godfather. Keaton plays the role of Kay Adams-Corleone in the crime drama film, where she is married to Michael Corleone. Diane Keaton reprised the role of Kay in The Godfather Part II as Michael becomes the new chief of the Corleone crime family.
