Rose City Band tour: How to get tickets, dates, venues & all you need to know

The Rose City Band tour is currently ongoing. The tour, titled “Sol y Sombra”, started on October 10, 2024, with a show in Brisbane. This will be followed by a show in Eltham. The tour is scheduled to run from October 12, 2024, to March 15, 2025, in venues across Australia and North America.

Tickets for the tour are currently available from the official band website. To get tickets, interested patrons will need to visit the site, scroll down to the tour page, and click on the "ticket" portal. They will then be redirected to the ticket portal, where they can choose their ticket type and follow the checkout procedure to purchase tickets.

The tour supports Rose City Band's new album, Sol y Sombra, which will be released on January 24, 2025, via Thrill Jockey Records. The album tracklist is given below:

Ripley Johnson elaborated on Rose City Band and the project in a press statement released on the official band page at Thrill Jockey Records, stating:

"With Rose City Band, I'm generally trying to make uplifting music, good time music. This time I couldn't avoid the shadow being more of a presence. There's no getting away from it. The shadow is always there. So, I left it in."

Rose City Band member later added:

"One of my takeaways from making this record is that I spent a lot of energy trying to do things a little different but ended up back where I started in many ways. And that's OK."
