What is the film about?

The film is about Mavi, who has found a new family in Istanbul unexpectedly. Its official synopsis, according to Netflix, reads,

"After a failed marriage proposal, Mavi, who grew up in Germany, discovers that she is part of a super-rich Turkish dynasty in dazzling Istanbul. Now she has to come to terms with her huge new family, led by a tradition-conscious grandmother she never even knew existed—the culture clash is perfect! Mavi must find a balance between her old life in Hamburg and her new Turkish dream world, between her new family and her boyfriend Can. But intrigue and glamorous temptations put their relationship to the test."

Yes, there is, in fact, a trailer for She Said Maybe, which was released on YouTube three weeks ago. It starts with Mavi attached to a zipline somewhere, partaking in adventure sports, but she slips. Fortunately, she doesn't fall, but it’s definitely one wild ride on the zipline.

We then see her landing in Istanbul, where a driver waits to pick her up. She clearly doesn't know about the dynasty she belongs to at this moment. Mavi then meets her grandmother for the first time, who already looks like a character viewers are going to love a lot.

From that moment on, Mavi's life changes. You can see it in her transformation from an average-looking girl from downtown to someone living in a castle.
