Sidelined 2: Intercepted, the sequel to the 2024 film based on the viral Wattpad story, was recently released on Tubi, bringing back Siena Agudong's Dallas Bryan and Noah Beck's Drayton Lahey in the story. Additionally, Drew Ray Tanner, James Van Der Beek, Kendall Cross, and more appear in the movie.

The film, like the first one, doesn't have enough reviews to get a score at the review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes. However, IMDb has given the first film a rating of 5.8 stars out of 10 and the second a 5.5 stars rating. Justin Wu has directed both films, with writers Crystal Ferreiro and Tay Marley returning for the screenplay.
