More on SXSW 2026

SXSW 2026 will not be returning to the Austin Convention Center, which is currently closed due to renovation. The seven-day event will instead be spread around Brazos Hall, 800 Congress, and for the music events, The Downright.

Speaking about the upcoming edition, SXSW VP of music Brian Hobbs stated in a press release to Billboard:

"SXSW has been the premiere destination for music discovery for 40 years, helping push pioneering acts like Kendrick Lamar, The White Stripes, Wet Leg, PinkPantheress, Tyler, The Creator, and Billie Eilish, to the next level. By bringing the global music industry to Austin, from labels and A&R to publicists to influential journalists and critics,-"

The VP continued:

"-SXSW is a unique opportunity for showcasing artists to build their careers, enter new markets, and learn from fellow artists and industry voices. With an extra night of showcases this year, 2026 is shaping up to be better than ever for artists, industry and audiences."

SXSW 2026 Badges are currently selling via its official website. Badges available include a Platinum Badge as well as event-specific badges, like the Music Badge.
