Busta Rhymes was recently called Tracy Morgan by a young TikToker on December 7, 2025, while Rhymes was giving said TikToker a recorded photo moment at Art Basel. This led to Busta Rhymes cursing out the young TikToker. The incident was recorded by Funny Salesman.

The video of the incident shows Rhymes dressing down the young prankster for over a minute, telling him that he shouldn't play with a grown man:

"I'm asking you a question. That ain't cool. I don't understand. I don't know what that means either. That's why I'm asking what it means. That's the only way I get to understand, by asking questions. Because I was taking a picture and showing love 'cause you was trying to be funny...You don't play with a grown man, little boy - that's how people get f***ed up!"

This led to some backlash from people online. However, other netizens have now stepped forward to defend Busta Rhymes, as exemplified by the tweet below:

"That wasn’t a joke . Bruh really didn’t know who he was."
"Yes but everyone is not to joke with or play with." one netizen stated.
"You mean the kid needs to learn some manners you don’t disrespect a legend. Because you want to go viral that’s the problem today everyone wants to be famous for all the wrong things." another netizen stated.
"You can go and say “ why is it always about color “ but I see this happen so much. Why tf white mfs keep thinking every black person look like some other black person or always slaughter our Name. Yall favorite one is Jamal. Why are yall like that." one commenter opined.
"He doesn't need to learn anything. Busta doesn't look anything like Tracey Morgan. He was kind enough to take a picture and this kid wants to disrespect him like that. I'm the same way. I don't play with kids. And today's kids are on some stupid shyt." one reactor commented.

Rhymes and Morgan have been compared in the past due to their similar appearances and physical builds. Busta Rhymes is clearly not fond of the comparison, as evidenced by his reaction to the young TikToker.
