The Beta Band 2026 Australian tour: Presale, dates, venues, and more explored

The Beta Band disbanded in 2004. In 2025, the group quietly reunited to deliver shows in the UK and North America. Now, the band has officially announced their first-ever Australian tour for 2026.

The band will also extend their global run with multiple stops in Japan, the UK, and a co-headlining date with The Flaming Lips in Halifax. The Beta Band's newly announced 2026 Australian leg will be the group's debut on the continent. The tour will mainly focus on The Three E.P.'s, which the group has been performing in full on recent dates. They are also expected to play other fan favourites.

The Beta Band took to their official Instagram page to announce the upcoming 2026 AU run, captioning:

"Australia, the wait is over. The Beta Band will be heading down under for the first time in 2026. General tickets go on sale Tuesday 25 November at 9 AM local time. Sign up via the 🔗 in bio to access early birth pre-sale. Early bird pre-sale begins Friday 21 November at 9 AM local time."

In another Instagram post, the band mentioned:

"The Beta Band will be playing a special co-headline show with @flaminglips at Piece Hall in Halifax on 23rd July 2026. Fans signed up to the mailing list will get pre-sale access. Register at thebetaband.com & via link in bio. General sale Friday 14th November."

The Beta Band were formed in 1996 in Fife, Scotland. The band became a known name in British music during the late 1990s and early 2000s. Their early EPs were later combined as The Three E.P.'s (1998). The band also released three studio albums: The Beta Band (1999), Hot Shots II (2001), and Heroes to Zeros (2004). Then, they disbanded in 2004.

Presale and general sale information for the 2026 AU leg

Early bird presale for the newly announced 2026 AU run will begin on Friday, November 21, 2025, at 9 AM local time. Fans can sign up via the link in the band's Instagram bio or through Destroy All Lines' website to access the presale.

General sale is set to start on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 9 AM local time via Destroy All Lines. Notably, there are no presale codes listed other than the early bird registration requirement.
