The boy doubts his guardian, known as “The Carpenter” and the role of the carpenter is played by Nicolas Cage. Ultimately, the boy develops his own powers and rebels against the carpenter, which causes horrifying results.

The teaser for the movie was released recently, and while there is no definite date right now, Magnolia Pictures has advertised that it will arrive in “Fall 2025 AD”. Interestingly, FKA Twigs will play the role of “The Mother” in the film. In the brief teaser, the carpenter looks over a rising sun and observes the boy from a distance.
