Here are seven incredible game announcements revealed at The Game Awards 2025. These new titles brought excitement and surprises for gamers everywhere. Have a look at the biggest reveals that stole the show this year.
Divinity
Divinity's trailer is the answer to "gaming's most controversial mystery." Larian Studios dropped their new trailer with a live experience. The new game is a follow-up to Divinity: Original Sin and is considered to be the biggest game Larian Studios has been working on.
It begins with a group of people, dressed as peasants, walking towards the stage, which features a pastoral scene, but is suddenly disrupted by a clap of thunder followed by a dark, stormy screen. Petrifying music plays in the background as the peasants are sucked into the air, one by one. The trailer continues on the screen with a red, otherworldly scene.
The next part reveals a haggard-looking old man with an iron crown, shackled somewhere, while he hears the sound of a town fair in the background. A man (priest) comes forward to light the wooden statue, which reveals the old man shackled in the chest area of the wooden figure. The trailer continues with the old man burning. His flesh falls to the ground, which gives birth to unearthly plants, and right before his flesh falls off, something explodes from his back into the sky, causing everyone to run away in fright.
