1) Shu Qi as Wang Hui Chun

The official IMDb plot synopsis of The Resurrected says that the series:

" Follows the journey of two desperate mothers as they resurrect a deceased ringleader of a telecommunication fraud scheme to avenge their kidnapped daughters.”

Wang Hui Chun is one of the two mothers. She is a soft-spoken person. However, her daughter’s disappearance changes everything for her, taking her life in an unexpected and dangerous direction.

In the teaser, the snippets with Shu Qi look promising. She is a talented Hong Kong–Taiwanese actress known for her works in Viva Erotica, Gone with the Bullets, and Journey to the West: Conquering the Demons.

2) Angelica Lee as Chao Ching

Just like Wang Hui Chun, Chao Ching is also seeking revenge after her daughter suffers a tragic incident. Angelica Lee, also known as Lee Sinje, is a well-known name in the world of entertainment, hence her addition to The Resurrected already creates quite a bit of intrigue for viewers.

She worked in movies like 20 30 40, Koma, and The Eye, for which she even won several prestigious accolades, as well as Re-cycle, and many more. In an interview with Netflix, she says:

“This is the first time I am playing such a dark role. To truly get into character, I isolated myself during production, which at times made me feel like a stranger to myself. As a mother, I can relate to the struggles and challenges Chao Ching faces."

3) Meng-Po Fu as Chang Shih Kai

Meng-Po Fu will be playing the main antagonist in the series. In an interview with Netflix, he talks about his character, saying:

"The tension between the aggressors and victims in this story is so intense, leaving much for the audience to reflect on. Each cast member has also brought such great energy on-set, and I am grateful to be a part of this epic project.”

His character runs a telescam group. Chang Shih Kai is undoubtedly evil and will bring intense complications in the path of Chao Ching and Wang Hui Chun.

4) Alyssa Chia as Huang I-chen

Alyssa Chia’s character is that of a lawyer. Her character will also be heavily involved with the two mothers trying to seek revenge. Alyssa Chia is a renowned Taiwanese actor with many popular movies and TV shows under her belt.

From period dramas to romance, she has done it all with such versatility. Her famous works include The World Between Us, The Falls, and At the Moment.
