The Scratch's current lineup explored as the band announces 2026 Pull Like A Dog Australia tour

The Scratch have officially scheduled their return to Australia in April 2026. The leg is part of their expanding global run. The Dublin-based four-piece has a new album, Pull Like A Dog, slated to be released on March 13, 2026. They will kick off their live run to support the record.

The Scratch were formed in Perrystown, Dublin, in 2016. The members originally played in the band Red Enemy. Then, they started The Scratch as an experiment. Their debut album, Couldn't Give A Rats, was officially released in 2020.

In December 2024, founding member Jordan O'Leary exited The Scratch. He was replaced by Gary "Snakeskin" Regan, who joined Daniel "Lango" Lang, Conor "Dock" Dockery, and Cathal McKenna. The new line-up has performed for the upcoming third album, Pull Like A Dog.

The Scratch announced the upcoming 2026 tour via an official Instagram post, captioning:

"AUSTRALIA!! We are coming back to see ye next year! Buzzin to get back down under ye bunch of CANTS 🇦🇺💚 Pre-sale is Wednesday at 9am AEDT. Get access by pre-ordering our album through the link in bio. We likely won’t have vinyl with us when we’re there so this is the best chance to get your hands on a copy! General sale is Friday at 9 am AEDT. Love ye xx"

The Scratch also shared a note for their upcoming album, Pull Like A Dog:

"‘Pull Like a Dog’ our third full length album is coming 13th March 2026!! It will be available on single gatefold transparent yellow vinyl, CD and a limited deluxe vinyl edition, which includes a fanzine. Pre-order NOW at the link in bio. The title track, ‘Pull Like a Dog’ is out now on all platforms."

The post continued:

"Stream it up baby! Calling all UK and USA/Canadian heads! We are finally coming back!! See all dates in the post. Artist pre-sale starts 12th November. General tickets on sale 14th November. Pre-order the album now to access pre-sale for all dates. We will be adding more 2026 dates very very soon! We can’t wait for you to hear this album. Stay tuned!"

It is worth noting that The Scratch's 2023 record Mind Yourself reached number one on the Irish Vinyl Charts. It also hit number three on the IRMA Weekly Album Chart and earned a Choice Music Prize nomination.

The band recently supported Dropkick Murphys across the United States and performed at Download Festival in the United Kingdom. In 2025, they appeared on two tracks on Dropkick Murphys' album For The People.
