Scottish-Irish folk rock act The Waterboys are officially set to return to Australia and New Zealand in May 2026. It will be their first visit to the region in over a decade. The announcement follows the release of their 2025 album Life, Death and Dennis Hopper.The upcoming shows are part of The Waterboys' 2025-2026 world tour, which includes dates across Europe before the band heads Down Under. The group was formed in London in 1983 by Mike Scott. Their early albums include The Waterboys (1983), A Pagan Place (1984), and This Is The Sea (1985). The hit single The Whole of the Moon is one of their most beloved tracks.
