Patrick Schwarzenegger, who made headlines with his portrayal of Saxon Ratliff in Mike White's The White Lotus, will likely appear opposite Margaret Qualley in an upcoming film called Love of Your Life, according to Deadline.
Schwarzenegger has appeared in a range of films including Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse (2015), Midnight Sun (2018), Daniel Isn't Real (2019), and more. The 2018 movie was the first time the actor was seen in a leading role. In it, he played Charlie Reed, the love interest of Katie Price (Bella Thorne). However, none of his roles has garnered more praise than his performance in The White Lotus.
On the other hand, Margaret Qualley was recently seen in The Substance (2024) opposite Demi Moore, where she portrayed Sue, a being unnaturally born out of a woman's body. Qualley's performance earned her a second nomination at the Golden Globe Awards.
No other actor is attached to the project as of now, nor is there any update on its production. We might soon hear about that, too.
What more do we know about Love of Your Life?

Rachel Morrison is set to direct Love of Your Life. She made her directorial debut in The Fire Inside last year, which was critically praised but proved to be a bomb at the box office. Before this, she worked as a cinematographer on films like Fruitvale Station (2013), Mudbound (2017), Black Panther (2018), and more.
She has also been a part of a number of TV projects but her notable work remains her direction for The Mandalorian's second episode, Chapter 18: The Mines of Mandalore.
Julia Cox has written Love of Your Life. She recently served as a story consultant on a TV series called Sunny (2024) and assisted in writing on another TV show called Parenthood, which ran from 2013 to 2015. However, she is known for the 2023 sports drama film Nyad, for which she wrote a screenplay. The film was nominated at the 96th Academy Awards, the 29th Critics' Choice Awards, the 81st Golden Globe Awards, and more.
Ryan Gosling and Jessie Henderson are producing Love of Your Life via their Open Invite Entertainment banner.
While Henderson has previously produced films like Spy, A Simple Favor, Someone Great, and more, Gosling, an established actor, is currently the subject of rumors that he is being cast as a version of Black Panther in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe movies.
While the details of the movie's plot are thin on the ground, the story is said to be similar to Eat Pray Love. As Deadline notes when it first reported about the film,
"The spec is another strong actress vehicle, drawing comparisons to Eat Pray Love. A young woman loses her young husband, and the movie is about her taking a journey so that she can regain her footing and find a reason to carry forward."
The script was reportedly sold for $2 million to Amazon MGM Studios. The entertainment company has released movies like Manchester by the Sea (2016), Les Misérables (2020), Sound of Metal (2020), and more.
