This independent Irish film is about a boy, Paco, who imagines his father to be a Spanish-speaking man and ends up learning the language by listening to Spanish-language tapes. His talent comes in handy when Ernesto’s (Demián Bichir) plane crashes in his small Irish town. He helps him communicate Ernesto’s case but also adds his own words to make the people of the town sympathetic toward him.

In this heartwarming tale of humanity, Kerry Condon plays the role of Grace, Paco’s mother, who has not cleared his son’s imagination of his father being Spanish, which makes Ernesto and Grace’s connection awkward but adorable as he seems to be smitten with her. Paco, Grace, and the whole town help in repairing Ernesto’s plane so that he can go back to Colombia. Condon was praised for her role as Grace, as the audience loved her character in the movie.

Starring GOT’s Maisie Williams and Kerry Condon, among others, Gold narrates the story of David Wilmot’s Ray, who comes back to his town after more than a decade to visit his father. He meets his ex, Alice, played by Kerry Condon, who has moved on in her life, and also their daughter, Williams's Abbie.

The story follows Ray’s attempt at reconnecting with his family, but no one seems very thrilled about him coming back, including Condon’s Alice. It's an offbeat comedy film that also gives a glimpse of the difficulties of parenting. Condon was nominated for the IFTA Awards for this film, and due to the performance and the narrative, this film is a must-watch.

5) The Last Station

Based on Jay Parini’s biographical novel, this movie narrates the story of Tolstoy’s life, months before his demise. Christopher Plummer plays Tolstoy, while Helen Mirren plays his wife, Sofya. In the film, Sofya and Tolstoy are at odds due to his willingness to sign a will that would put all his copyrights in the public domain, which would mean his family will be left without any support after him.

James McAvoy plays the private secretary of Tolstoy, Valentin, who is also working as a double agent for Vladimir Chertkov to spy on Sofya and Tolstoy and also tries to mediate between the disciples who want Tolstoy to sign the will and Sofya, who does not. Kerry Condon plays the character of Masha, Valentin’s love interest and one of the people who support the new will. It is a great watch, as the historical drama focuses on the last few months of the life of the celebrated Russian writer.

Ray Donovan: The Movie is often regarded as one of the best television films that wrapped up the popular Ray Donovan series. It picks up right from where it left off in season 7 of the series, and Ray is still trying to find Mickey, who is on the run. Kerry Condon plays Molly Sullivan, who gets romantically involved with Ray but is unaware of her father’s corrupt business.

In the film, Kerry finds out about her father and ends up shooting Ray, a crucial moment at the end of the film. The crime drama is one of the most popular dramas, and a film that concludes the series perfectly is a must-watch as well.

The Oscar-winning film is among the acclaimed Hollywood films and narrates the story of a mother, Mildred, played by Frances McDormand, who also won an Oscar for the film. Mildred lost her daughter after she was s*xually assaulted and killed, but even seven months later, no one has been arrested for the crime. Therefore, she rents three billboards in her town where she puts out signs about the failure of the police in not finding the criminal.

Though Kerry Condon appeared in a small role as Pamela, who works in the advertising company, her presence is commanding and is a great addition to the stellar cast.

2) F1

The latest in Kerry Condon’s must-watch movie list would be Brad Pitt’s F1, where she played the character of Kate, the technical designer of the APX team. While the film focuses on Pitt’s character, Sonny comes back to live his dream and his redemption arc with the second chance he gets to be an F1 racer.

However, there were moments when Condon’s Kate stole the show with her humane acting that made the story even better. For instance, she is the one who suggests that Sonny and Idris’s Joshua fix their differences by playing poker and gets them to sit down and play. Kate’s aura and her sheer will to make the two work together are some of the best moments in the sports film, and you should definitely check the film out.

1) The Banshees of Inisherin

You might think Pádraic’s donkey, Jenny, might be the sole scene stealer in this fan-favorite tragicomedy film, but it was also Kerry Condon, who played Siobhán, Pádraic’s bookish and smarter sister. The film focuses on Brendan Gleeson’s Colm, who wants to do something productive in his last moments of life and cuts his friend, Colin Farrell’s Pádraic, off from his connections, and he does not want to spend time in mindless chatter anymore.

This hurts Pádraic, as he tries his best in the whole film to get his friend’s attention back on him. Condon’s Siobhán, on the other hand, is sensible enough and decides to go to the mainland for a job in a library due to the boring life on the island and also due to Colm and Pádraic’s feud. The film is at times bleak and darkly foreboding, but also funny and heartwarming at times, which balances the narrative with equally great performances from the actors.
