The Hallmark film Tidings for the Season has a delightful cast of actors, including Tamera Mowry-Housley, B.J. Britt, and Elijah-Justus Lewis in the leads. This Christmas-themed romance premiered on 16th November 2025, at 8/9 c.

Directed by Linda-Lisa Hayter, the film follows Adam Kade, a grave news anchor, as his perspective on his work changes. Elijah-Justus Lewis plays the role of Robbie, Lucy's 10-year-old son and an enthusiastic fan of Adam Kade. When he meets Adam, he appeals to the serious news anchor to shift his focus to some uplifting news as well. As a result, Adam undergoes a fundamental change in the way he practices journalism.

Apart from this film, the young actor has worked in the TV series Adults. What makes this even more special is, this is also the debut film of Elijah-Justus Lewis.

2) B.J. Britt as Adam Kade

Actor B.J. Britt portrays the role of the earnest newsreader Adam Kade. Upon meeting Robbie, he reflects on his journalism practices and opens himself to presenting positive news as well. In the process, he meets Lucy and they develop a romantic connection.

But here's the catch: At this point in life, when Adam's career flourishes and he also finds love, he is torn between the matters of the heart and the mind.
