Amonth ago, NEON dropped the trailer for Together, starring Dave Franco and Alison Brie, where they play Tim and Millie, respectively. It ended on a happy note with both characters' actors playing and affirming their love for each other. Now we have a trailer, but it seems like something terrible has gone wrong, as Millie doesn't appear to be interested in Tim anymore.
Franco and Brie aren't just starring in but also producing the film. Joining them in production are Picturestart, Tango, 1.21, and Princess Pictures. The last time the actors and couple were seen collaborating on a horror project was in 2020, The Rental, which was also Franco's directorial debut. On that note, we must mention that this is Michael Shanks' directorial debut.
Together already appears to be a banger, as the available reviews on Rotten Tomatoes show a 100% critics' approval. Ryan Coogler's Sinners found itself in this club recently. However, it has dropped slightly and maintains a 98% score as of this writing.
What did the Together trailer give us?
The trailer begins with Tim affirming his love for Millie, but Millie sort of rejects it with just an 'okay,' which she didn't even bother saying in full, but just a 'kay.' Later, she is seen in what appears to be a therapy session with a psychologist where she thinks her relationship with Tim is complacent.
It then shifts again to the couple in focus, who are making out, just that things have become sticky, literally. This is the part when the viewers will realize something's wrong between them because it appears like their skin has become a tape. Or maybe it's just time, which the next scene kind of confirms.
The couple is about to sleep, the lights are off, but Tim is sleeping on Millie's hair, so she asks him to roll over. But he isn't on her hair; they've stuck on his mouth like it's glue. It's chilling, and not because of this stick fact, but because Dave Franco's character looks almost dead. However, they finally realize something's wrong, at least Tim does.
Interestingly, like in the above-mentioned scene, it's Tim who appears dead, and it's Millie who appears struggling to breathe just after a few seconds. There's supernatural in it, as around the 1:35 minute mark, we see Franco being pulled by an invisible entity.
The final scene is what will send the viewers some chills down their spine. Now that it's established there's something that's causing Tim and Milie's skin to stick to each other like glue, some parts are stuck together, it seems. Now, Brie's character is going to use a small electrical saw to unstick it. At least they have a bottle of whiskey for the pain, they can enjoy it together.
What other major Brie Larson and Dave Franco projects are on the way?

Though they won't appear together in their upcoming projects, both Brie and Dave will be seen in highly anticipated films, one for each. For the former, it's a live-action Masters of the Universe film, where she is playing Evil-Lyn.
For Franco, it's Now You See Me: Now You Don't, as he will reprise his role of Jack Wilder. The first two films have garnered much love from the fans, and a fourth film is said to be in development already.
