6ix9ine's Florida home faced an invasion, with a viral video showing the rapper's mother being held at gunpoint by several armed intruders. The alleged incident was first reported on by TMZ, with DJ Akademiks posting the video subsequently on social media.

The video shows at least three men, with a man walking past a dog in the drawing room into another room. Two other men can be seen holding the singer's mother at the back, past the sitting room.

The 34-second video drew widespread skepticism after it was seen online, with many claiming that the video was staged, pointing to the non-aggression shown towards the men by the dog. Others were skeptical of the incident for a different incident, questioning why robbers would strike a house being watched by the federal authorities of the country.

However, the incident was reported to the police, who arrived at the scene soon after the report. The involvement of the police suggests that the incident was not staged. The police searched the house with a K9 dog unit but could not find the robbers. According to The Independent, the police believe the robbers may have fled in a car.

Now the rapper has come forward to address these allegations that the incident might have been staged, refuting said allegations. In a video posted by DJ Akademiks, 6ix9ine addressed the allegations:

"What's up? So I want to make this video to clear up all fake news and rumors. The world knows this. It's a fact. I'm on house arrest. I've been on house arrest. I think everyone in America. And everyone across the world knows that I'm on house arrest. Yesterday they allowed me to leave for work."

The rapper continued:

"People I guess saw that I was on livestream with Jack Doherty. They took that opportunity to do some f***king p***y sh*t. Like I said, its mean so I get it. The rules are different for me. But if it was your favorite artist, your favorite actor and that was done. They don't get no cool points for that. My mom is 60 years old."

6ix9ine continued:

"Y'all know I'm supposed to come home. Y'all know I'm home all the time. I'm on house arrest. So y'all take the opportunity when I'm not home. Y'all see me on livestream with Jack Doherty in Miami and y'all do that. That's p**sy sh*t. That's whack. Get no coupon. I don't think nobody respects that shit."

Jack Doherty also commented on the incident, and his words are quoted here via the above-mentioned Independent article:

"We were livestreaming with [Hernandez] and in the middle of it, apparently he got robbed, so now there’s like a bunch of cops at his house."

6ix9ine was released from prison in 2024

6ix9ine was released from prison in 2024. The rapper is currently serving out his one-year probation term under house arrest. He is under electronic monitoring, has to hold a full-time lawful job, and also has several other restrictions on his home.

However, the rapper is in hot water with the authorities over his probation violations. Federal prosecutors are pushing for three to nine months of jail time, as per an article by Billboard.

6ix9ine was on supervised release in 2024 when he was arrested again in New York. He served a 45-day sentence before being released on probation. The rapper was recently in the news for mocking Blueface over his brand logo tattoos.
