“We got married!!! Again”: Spice Girls’ Mel B weds Rory McPhee for a second time in dreamy Morocco wedding

Just weeks after her grand wedding in London, Mel B from the Spice Girls got married again to her husband, Rory McPhee. Mel, better known as Scary Spice, is 50 years old, and McPhee was her hairdresser. The two have been together for several years now, and they got engaged in October 2022. Their first wedding at St. Paul's Cathedral, London, was a grand event.

They recently decided to get married again with a second ceremony, which was intimate and personal. This event was held at the Selman Hotel in Marrakech, Morocco, and only close family and friends were present.

Mel B shared the news on Instagram. She posted some photos from the ceremony and wrote,

"We got married, again! A wedding so good we keep the celebration going with our closest and dearest in our fave place at @selmanmarrakech. We had the time of our lives."

Mel B's red dress that stole the show

For her second wedding, Mel B decided to go with a bold red wedding dress, with crystals and beads, designed by a team from Evelie Bridal from London and designer Justin Alexander.

Caroline Black from Evelie Bridal helped Mel pick the perfect design. She said Mel wanted something that would stand out but also feel light and comfortable.

“Mel loved the idea of a red dress — something bold, with lots and lots of shimmer — but it also had to feel light and easy to move in,”

Caroline told the PA news agency. She also said,

"After several conversations and sketches, the first design took shape. Mel gave us clear feedback on what she liked and what she didn’t, and the final result was beautiful."

It took more than 850 hours to make the dress. A team of six skilled people worked on it. The final result was a red gown that looked bold and beautiful. Rory McPhee wore a white shirt and blazer from the Alexander McQueen collection.

Mel B’s life details and career

Mel B’s life has had many ups and downs. Before marrying Rory, she was married to Stephen Belafonte. That marriage ended in 2017. Mel had said it was an abusive relationship. They have one daughter together named Madison.

Mel also has two other daughters. Phoenix is from her marriage to dancer Jimmy Gulzar. Angel is her daughter with actor Eddie Murphy.
