Leighton Meester said that her time on Nobody Wants This is one of the "most fun" she has ever had on set. When asked about her role as Abby on the show, she told People:

"I don't know what I can tell you, but I do inevitably stir up some drama there."

She added:

"Obviously, I am a huge fan of the show for many reasons, but I've been so lucky to get to know everybody involved ... [and they've all] been so kind and welcoming... I was really taken by everybody's kindness and their talent, and how that whole show came together."

Meester concluded by saying:

"I know that everyone has so much fun on it, and when I went on, I mean, it was one of the most fun times that I've had on a set... I also know somebody on it," referring to her husband of 11 years.
