Doechii recently released her newest song, Girl Get Up. The singer released the new track on December 29, 2025. In the track, the rapper seemingly addressed the allegations of being an industry plant that was made by Adin Ross. Adin Ross stated in a rant on livestream:

"Doechii rant. Oh, don't get me started on that b**ch. Don't get me started on that industry plant. You guys can say sh*t whatever you want about me. One thing about me is I'm not an industry plant. I have been streaming for like a long time now."

The streamer continued:

"F**k Doechii. What an entitled, unintelligent piece of sh*t she is. I'm not joking bro. Stop listening to her music... She is just the worst. She's a piece of sh*t. She stole someone I used to know. She makes no good music. She's horrible. F*ck Doechii..She has zero talent."

Now Doechii has responded on her track, singing that she will further address it in her upcoming album:

"All that industry plant sh*t wack/ I see it on the blogs/ I see you in the chats/ you suck every rap n*gga d*ck from the back/ubut what's the agenda when the it girl black?/ Y'all can't fathom that I work this hard/ and y'all can't fathom that I earned this chart./ These n***as misognistic/ i’ll address it on the album/ For now let’s sink into the fact that hate don’t make you powerful."

The track is a collaboration with SZA and is also her newest track. It was released via Top Dawg Entertainment and Capitol Records. The track is her first release since she worked with Alemeda on the track Beat A B!tch Up.

Doechii was supposed to release her debut album in 2025

Doechii was supposed to release her debut album in 2025. The singer previously talked about releasing the album in 2025 in an interview with Variety. The year has gone by, and the singer is yet to release the new album.

The rapper talked about the album in an exclusive interview with Cosmopolitan on April 21, 2025, stating that she wanted to have conversations in her project. She refused to elaborate on the topics of said conversations when asked:

"On my next project, I plan on having conversations. They might be hard for some people to have, but I think I want to bring up a dialogue about topics that might be hard for people to hear...I don’t want to give them away. But we’re going to have a conversation on the album."

The singer later added:

"I don’t know how that’s working for me yet. We’ll see if I end up with an album! Everything in me wants to say, “Everybody, shut up—stop,” for literally three to six months to do all of this. But I have obligations. I’m trying to learn how to adjust my creative process for the season of life I’m in now."

Doechii is best known for her second mixtape, Alligator Bites Never Heal, which was released on August 30, 2024. The extended edition of the mixtape was released later in 2025.

The mixtape went on to chart at the number 10 spot on the Billboard 200 album chart, as well as at the 13th spot on the Canadian album chart. It featured a guest appearance from Kuntfetish.
