Brock Lesnar made headlines once again with his dramatic WWE return at SummerSlam 2025. But this time, it wasn’t just about him. While the wrestling world was buzzing about the Beast Incarnate’s comeback, another Lesnar was quietly dominating in her own arena. Meet Mya Lesnar, Brock Lesnar’s daughter and one of the most powerful young athletes in college sports right now.
If you’re expecting another wrestling prodigy, think again. Mya has never stepped into the ring, but she’s been making noise in the world of track and field. And not just because of her last name. Over the past few seasons, she’s become one of the top collegiate shot putters in the country, building a career that’s entirely her own.
As her father reclaims his spotlight in WWE, Mya is standing tall in her own lane, quite literally, breaking records, winning championships, and proving that strength runs in the family, even if it’s expressed in very different ways.
Mya Lesnar is dominating track and field, not the wrestling ring like Brock Lesnar

Mya Lesnar currently competes for Colorado State University, where she’s built a powerhouse résumé in the shot put. She transferred to CSU after starting her college career at Arizona State, and the move has paid off in a big way. In 2024, she won the Mountain West Conference indoor title, and by 2025, she was a full-blown NCAA champion.
At this year’s NCAA Outdoor Championships, Mya clinched the national title with a monster throw of 19.01 meters (over 62 feet). A few weeks earlier, she had already set the CSU program record with a throw of 19.60 meters, one of the top five throws in NCAA history. She’s also earned first-team All-American honors four times and was a semifinalist for The Bowerman, college track and field’s highest individual award.
But what’s even more impressive is how grounded she remains. After winning the NCAA Outdoor title, Mya told CSU reporters,
“It’s taken a lot of work to get back to No. 1 again,” pointing to the technical and mental growth that’s fueled her rise.
She’s also expanded her skills into discus and weight throw, setting personal bests and conference wins across the board.
A Brock Lesnar comeback — and a cloud of controversy

While Mya’s athletic journey continues to rise, her father’s return to WWE hasn’t been without complications. Brock Lesnar had been absent from wrestling for nearly two years, following serious allegations made in the Janel Grant lawsuit against Vince McMahon. The suit referenced an unnamed WWE star involved in misconduct, widely reported to be Lesnar, which led WWE to quietly pull him from promotional material in early 2024.
But just days before SummerSlam 2025, WWE cleared Brock Lesnar to return, saying he was no longer under legal review. His reappearance, F5’ing John Cena during the main event, caused shockwaves. WWE head Triple H later said it was part of Cena’s farewell storyline and a personal request from the 16-time champ.
Still, Grant’s legal team didn’t hold back. In a statement, her spokesperson criticized WWE’s move, saying,
“This attempt to sweep misconduct under the rug will backfire,” and vowed to bring “the full set of facts, including those about Mr. Lesnar,” to light in court.
Yet despite the storm surrounding her father, Mya Lesnar has remained focused. Her journey is one of her own making, forged not through controversy or legacy, but through years of training, discipline, and sheer competitive fire.
And if the past year is any sign, she’s just getting started.
