What did Crissle West say about Cardi B? The Read co-host and rapper feud over pregnancy comments

Prominent American rapper Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, commonly known by her stage name Cardi B, is in a feud with Crissle West, the co-host of The Read podcast. The Please Me hitmaker, Cardi B, has a conflict with Crissle West after she broke the news that she is expecting her fourth child and her first baby with her boyfriend, Stefon Diggs, an NFL player.

However, the netizens and Cardi B's fans are curious to find out what this online feud between her and Crissle West is about. Cardi's pregnancy news received ambivalent responses, as the Be Careful rapper already shares three kids with her alienated rapper husband, Offset, while her current boyfriend, Diggs, with whom she is expecting her fourth child, is in the middle of a paternity suit.

Crissle West, a comedian and writer, discussed Cardi's pregnancy and other related topics in one of the latest episodes of The Read podcast, where she took a dig at Cardi for not handling her divorce from Offset properly and having a fourth child. Not to mention, West also reportedly claimed that Cardi is not prioritizing her children's welfare. Crissle West, regarding Cardi B, said:

"It's not just money. You also need parents who are very mindful and deliberate about bringing you into the world and choosing to guide you into adulthood. That is how we raise decent, good people."

West went ahead and added:

"Yo mama out here giving her p*ssy to whoever the f*ck she wants to and keeping whatever y'all drop off in her f*cking uterus is crazy! I was expecting so much more out of Cardi B because you are not just some broke, bored b*tch in the Bronx who don't got shit else to do."

Cardi B reacts to Crissle West's views on her fourth pregnancy

The 32-year-old Cardi B, who gained mainstream success in 2017 after her single Bodak Yellow became a hit, did not take West's views lightly and responded to them in an X Spaces session on September 21, 2025. The MotorSport rapper, Cardi, first joked and said:

"I think people wanted me to leave my old relationship and then be single for two years and then come back out and date a rich white billionaire and move to Dubai."

While Cardi made it clear that she has no regret when it comes to having a child, she said that she is "very happy and very excited" about her future. Cardi said:

"Some people might have opinions on my work, right? But one thing nobody can f*ck with me or tell me is about my motherhood. That title? I’ll beat b*tches up for that title. One thing I know I am is a great mother."

As she mentioned her three kids, Kulture, Wave, and Blossom, who live with her in New Jersey, Cardi said:

"Me and my kids are like best friends. Because I see them almost every day. I see them every single day. Yes, I have people that help me with my kids, but this ain't no 'I just drop them off and someone is raising them for me.' It’s very clear that’s not what I do."

She added:

"No b*tch can tell me about motherhood [if] they don't have no f*cking kids."

Carbi also raised a question about why Crissle West was worrying about her fourth pregnancy. She said:
