Australian actor Liam Hemsworth and Gabriella Brooks are officially engaged now. The couple is currently the talk of the town, having announced their engagement on social media. The 35-year-old Liam, who was previously married to pop star and actress Miley Cyrus, has been with Brooks for six years.

Liam Hemsworth, who gained prominence after starring in movies such as The Last Song and The Hunger Games, was first seen with Gabriella Brooks in December 2019, as per People. However, it was Brooks, a model and an actress, who took to her Instagram and announced that they are engaged.

She shared a carousel post, with one of the pictures being of her and Liam. As the couple posed stylishly in the black and white picture, Brooks elegantly displayed her ring. The Lonely Planet actor, Liam Hemsworth, who dated the Wrecking Ball hitmaker, Miley Cyrus, for ten years, finally tied the knot with her in December 2018. As per Cosmopolitan, Liam and Miley, who had been married for a year, split in 2019, as they struggled with their marriage. They finalized their divorce in 2020.

According to Grazia, Cyrus, on the Howard Stern Show, while talking about her relationship with Liam Hemsworth, revealed that if their house hadn't been burned in the Malibu fires, they probably wouldn't have married. Cyrus said:

"We were together since 16,” Cyrus said. “Our house burned down. We had been like, engaged--I don’t know if we really ever thought we were actually going to get married, but when we lost our house in Malibu—which if you listen to my voice pre- and post-fire, they’re very different so that trauma really affected my voice. And I was actually in South Africa, so I couldn’t come home, and like, my animals were tied to a post at the beach. I lost everything. I had polaroids of Elvis, like front row, passed on from—I got a couple grandmas to give me their Elvis polaroids. I always became friends with my friends’ grandmas so I could get the goods from the artists I love."

While talking about their separation, Cyrus claimed they had several issues and added:

"There was too much conflict. When I come home, I want to be anchored by someone. I don’t get off on drama or fighting."

Hemsworth and Brooks, despite being a part of the entertainment industry, try to keep their relationship away from the spotlight and public attention.
