Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley are reportedly working to repair their friendship.

According to a report in Backstage Country, Hubbard shared on the Human School Podcast that he and Kelley are reconnecting personally, planning activities like hiking and fishing to rebuild their friendship after Florida Georgia Line’s hiatus in 2022. He said:

“I hadn't spoken to BK a lot in the last couple of years, but we're going on a hike next week, so the way I see it is, I have a desire for that friendship. I miss the guy I was partners with for 10 years. I miss my old roommate, my best man at my wedding, and if nothing else, we should have a relationship.”

While debuting their band, Tyle Hubbard and his bandmate self-released their debut EP titled Anything Like Me, which marked their official entry into the music scene.

Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley broke the records with their debut single, Cruise in 2012. Florida Georgia Line released four studio albums from 2012 to 2019 - Here's to the Good Times, Anything Goes, Dig Your Roots and Can't Say I Ain't Country.

They made headlines in 2020 when Tyler Hubbard and his wife Hayley Hubbard unfollowed his Kelley on Instagram. Hayley also unfollowed Kelley’s wife, Brittney. The reason for it stemmed due to their political differences.

Reportedly, Kelley became vocal about his support for Donald Trump during the 2020 election which led to Tyler Hubbard unfollowing him.

During a joint interview on SiriusXM’s Exit 209, Tyle told Storme Warren:

“I unfollowed BK for a few days while we were through this political, you know, in the middle of this election and everything going on. And I even called him and told him, I said, ‘Hey buddy, I love you. And I love you a lot more in real life than on your Stories right now. So I’m just going to, so that’s why I’m unfollowing you. Nothing personal. I still love you. You’re still my brother.’ I just didn’t want to see it every time I opened Instagram. And so it wasn’t a big deal.”

After releasing their fifth studio album, Life Rolls On, in 2021, the musicians went on hiatus, launching solo careers. During that time, Brian clarified that they are “not going their separate ways” but rather taking a “break.”

Now, they are reportedly working hard to repair their relationship. As of now, they haven’t announced any music.
