More details about Jaafar Jackson's role in the Michael biopic

Jaafar Jackson took to Instagram to share a teaser of the upcoming Michael trailer. Two years ago, he posted a black and white photo of what looks like a rehearsal room. He was dressed in clothes similar to what Michael Jackson used to wear, including white socks and loafers, and a hat.

He captioned the post:

"I’m humbled and honored to bring my Uncle Michael’s story to life. To all the fans all over the world, I’ll see you soon."

Michael Jackson's mother, Katherine Jackson, has expressed her approval over the casting choice. She said:

"Jaafar embodies my son. It's so wonderful to see him carry on the Jackson legacy of entertainers and performers."

Producer Graham King, who worked on the award-winning Bohemian Rhapsody biopic, is joining Antoine Fuqua as a producer on Michael. This is what he had to say about the 29-year-old Jafaar:

"I met Jaafar over two years ago and was blown away by the way he organically personifies the spirit and personality of Michael... It was something so powerful that even after conducting a worldwide search, it was clear that he is the only person to take on this role."

Jaafar Jackson is following in his famous family's footsteps as he builds his career in music and film. After releasing songs like Got Me Singing and Confused, he is now stepping into acting with his biggest role yet, playing his uncle Michael Jackson in the upcoming biopic Michael. The film will be released on April 24 next year.
