The Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry blasted Killer Mike after her made a negative comment about his wife, Ayesha Curry.

According to Billboard, the incident began when content creator BooWoodz posted a clip criticizing Curry’s wife for “embarrassing” her husband, because she does not receive the same amount of attention as him (Stephen Curry). He said in the clip:

“She wants to go be GloRilla or some sh*t. Like, we get it, bro. Just go drop an album or some sh*t. Stop embarassing this man, bro. This sh*t's getting pathetic.”

To which Mike replied with a disparaging comment,

“My [inappropriate expletive] Said She Wanna Go Be Glo!!! Man Steph Doesn't deserve the embarrassment frfr. God bless him.”

Stephen Curry then stepped into the conversation, telling Mike to “stay in your lane” and adding that he expected better from the Grammy-winning artist. He was disappointed with Mike’s remarks about his wife and referred to the content creator as “other clowns.”

The NBA player's comments expressed his deep love and respect for his wife, with whom he shares four kids.

Ayesha was born on March 23, 1989, in Toronto, Canada. Her birth name is Ayesha Disa Alexander. She is an actress and a producer, according to her IMDb profile. She is known for Irish Wish (2024), Gary Unmarried (2008), and Love for Sale (2008). She is also a cookbook author and a businesswoman.

The couple met when they were in their teens in 2003. But they started dating and got into a relationship five years later, after relocating from North Carolina to California to pursue their respective careers. During that time, Ayesha was 19, and Curry was 20.

As per US Weekly, Stephen Curry pursued his wife on a trip to Los Angeles, where the pair initially met up as friends, but it developed into something romantic. They eventually tied the knot after dating for three years, on July 30, 2011, in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Ayesha took a break from her acting career after she found out that she was pregnant with her first child. She told Cooper in her podcast:

“After we got married, we found out we were pregnant with our daughter so quickly. I didn’t even have time to think about what I wanted anymore. It’s so interesting. I spent my entire life trying to work towards something and then it kind of just disappeared. I didn’t think twice about it.”

Stephen Curry and Ayesha welcomed their first kid, their daughter Riley, in 2012, according to US Weekly. Three years later, they were blessed with another baby girl, Ryan. They are also parents to sons, Canon and Caius, who arrived in 2018 and 2024.
