Gushing about the bond between him and his wife, the actor said:

"When people say, 'when you know, you know,' that’s what this feeling is. We’ve never had a fight, an argument, a raised voice, or a harsh word. Not that we’ve always agreed. We’re just at a point where we have a way of communicating.”

He added:

“I talk about my wife and daughter but obviously I don’t post them. I talk about them because they are obviously the hugest parts of my life, the best parts of my life, the best decisions I’ve ever made, but I also like to keep them and their identity private.”

How was Malcolm-Jamal Warner’s bond with his daughter?

Malcolm-Jamal Warner shared a deep bond with his daughter. Although he initially had no plans of having kids or starting a family, after meeting his wife, life changed for him.

According to a report in Marca, Malcolm-Jamal Warner got married around 2016 or 2017. His wife is reportedly a Connecticut-based attorney, whose identity he has not revealed. They reportedly met in 2015 through a mutual friend. At that time, he was reportedly 45 years old.

Recalling their first date on the Hot & Bothered podcast, he said that he told his wife that he “probably” won’t have kids, while she expressed her willingness. However, five and a half months later, things took a turn, and he asked her about starting a family, as he knew that his wife was the person he had been waiting for.

After having relationships with high-profile celebrities like Michelle Thomas, Karen Malina White, and Regina King, Warner decided to keep the identity of his wife and kids a secret and away from unnecessary attention.

He has shared many pictures of his wife and kids on his Instagram; however, he has not revealed their faces. He revealed on his podcast Not All Hood that his wife is Black and Puerto Rican.
