With Anna Kournikova's latest pregnancy announcement, the 44-year-old’s high-profile relationship with Pavel Bure has come to light.

A source exclusively confirmed the news to People magazine that the former tennis player is expecting her fourth child with her longtime partner, Enrique Iglesias. The insider told the outlet:

“Anna and Enrique are very happy to become parents again. They have proven to be great parents to their three children, and both of them love the process. They enjoy the activities and all that goes along with raising children.”

The couple have been together since 2001, and are parents to 7-year-old twins Lucy and Nicholas, as well as a 5-year-old daughter named Mary.

Bure, who was a former Russian professional ice hockey player, has been engaged in various hockey-related activities since his retirement in 2005. He serves as a Special Advisor for International Matters for the Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RIHF). He is now married and has two children.

Anna Kournikova’s ex-fiancé, Pavel Bure, has built a family life with his wife, Alina Khasanova, post his relationship with the former tennis star.

Nicknamed “The Russian Rocket” for his speed, Bure played for 12 seasons in the NHL with the Vancouver Canucks, Florida Panthers, and New York Rangers. He was elected into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2012 and named one of the 100 Greatest NHL Players in history in 2017, according to RG. Org.

Pavel Bure was born in Minsk, Belarus, into a prominent family. His father, Vladimir Bure, was a former freestyle swimmer and a conditioning coach for the New Jersey Devils. He passed away at the age of 73 in Miami in September 2024.

Vladimir Bure played a significant role in grooming his sons, Pavel and Valeri, in their hockey careers. After moving with them to North America in 1991, he took charge of training and coaching both his sons. Canucks owner Arthur Griffiths told The Province, after the Canucks finished practising, the Bures would go for another round of training. He said:

“Pavel’s morning would be: swim for an hour, workout for an hour, and play tennis. And then play hockey. You could see the results.”

Pavel Bure’s brother, Valery, is also a former hockey player. They played in the Florida Panthers together. His mother is Tatyana Bure, who was photographed along with his wife when Pavel became the first Canucks player to be elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2012.

According to a report in Russia Beyond, Pavel Bure met his wife, Alina, in 2005, when they were both on vacation in Turkey. She is a model. Bure married her on October 10, 2009. During that time, Alina was 23 and Bure was 38. Their wedding was attended by over 300 guests.

Alina and Pavel welcomed their first child, a son, Pavel Jr., on April 23, 2013. He has followed in the footsteps of his father and competed in several hockey championships.

Alina then gave birth to their daughter, Palina, on July 20, 2015, in Moscow. The couple was blessed with their third child on December 28, 2018, according to Biography Post.
