Drake recently made an appearance at the Blue Jays vs Dodgers World Series game at Rogers Center in Toronto, Canada.

The rapper was seen wearing a Don Bosco letterman jacket to pay tribute to the late mayor of Toronto and fellow Canadian Rob Ford, with the jacket having the latter's initials.

Drake's tribute to Rob Ford garnered support from netizens online, who took to social media to express it, as exemplified by the tweets quoted below:

"He single handedly put Toronto on the map for the Drake generation. Paved the way for Rap as mainstream in Toronto and helped the Raptors get to #1 by elevating Blacks as brothers. His real bro dealt, Rob just sampled, proved he was human. Coach Rob Ford RIP." one netizen stated.
"Such a good member of the city that’s how millionaires should act, apart of the city." another netizen stated.
"Who knew back then that he was the good Ford? Now his brother lets other people suffering from addiction live in tents and openly do hard drugs anywhere they please, what a nice way to honor his brother." one commenter opined.
