What do we know about the fortune of Supa Cent?
Supa Cent’s fortune is primarily built on the success of her cosmetic business and her social media influencer status.
In a chat with Black Enterprise, Supa Cent revealed that The Crayon Case was not her first business, as most people think. She told the outlet –
“It was I think it was maybe my fourth business. And, I think I was ready to do it because that was the one business I was gonna be extremely passionate about by being makeup.”
Supa Cent dropped out of high school at the age of 16. According to a report in Forbes, she convinced her aunt, who was her manager, to employ her at an aquarium. Recalling how the incident affected her mother, she said:
"One time [my mom] popped up at school and called me, I was at work, and she was [asked], 'Where are you?' I said I was at school, and she said, 'No, you're not because I'm at your school,' and I hung up the phone. I got on a bus and went home. I got in trouble and told her I would quit the job, but I didn't; I just stayed at work.”

At the age of 17, she was transferred to high school in Baton Rouge and lived with her father. When she turned 18, she moved back to her home and landed a job as a waiter in the Oceania restaurant. It was this job where she learned her marketing skills, Supa Cent told Forbes. She said:
“They did everything and anything to market; they gave away free stuff, letting police eat for free. They let all the valet guys who worked at the hotels, the concierge, and the front desk people, eat half off so they could tell people to come into the restaurant.”
Cent also had the experience of working as a housekeeper. In 2013, she started posting videos on the now-defunct Vine platform. She launched her cosmetic brand, The Crayon Case, in 2017. Since then, it has become a huge makeup line that attracts thousands of customers every day.
Her company, which is based in New Orleans, has over 20 employees who oversee her operations daily. It has launched a total of 100 products to date, as per Essence.
Besides her brand sales, Supa Cent earns through partnerships with major companies like Fashion Nova and Morphe, which add to her overall wealth.
