American theater director and producer Jerry Adler made his directing debut with Words and Music in 1974 with Sammy Cahn. Adler began his career in the film industry in 1950 as a stage manager. Jerry's interest in theater began when he was in high school. He attended Samuel J. Tilden High School and was the President of the Dramatic Club.
