Jimmy Fallon's dog, Gary Frick Jr. made an appearance on the host's Tonight Show eleven years ago. Fallon posted a photo of Gary on Instagram wearing a suit and tie with a party hat. The photo was edited including a human hand to look like Gary is making a sign of the horns gesture.

Fallon captioned the photo:

"My dog Gary Frick is making an appearance on the Tonight Show tonight! #party"

Jimmy Fallon met Gary when she was a puppy. While he was hosting Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, she came on the show dressed in a suit playing the role of a political pundit. She debated with Fallon and obviously won both the debate and his heart.

Jimmy Fallon's heartfelt post about his late dog, Gary Frick Jr.

Jimmy took to Instagram to announce the passing of his pet dog, Gary. He posted a carousel of photos featuring Gary as a puppy, Gary with his wife and kids, Fallon with Gary, as well as a few goofy pictures of his late dog.

He wrote in the caption:

"She was the last name we signed on every birthday card. She was our first baby, a therapist, a pillow, a big sister, a schoolmarm, a comedian, a party girl and a rebel. Definitely not a watchdog—she would have let burglars in and shown them where we kept the bacon and American cheese slices."

He added:

"Always smiling even when she slept. She loved a good scratch and would lean into you if she liked you, though 'if' is generous—she did this for basically everyone."

Fallon shared a few fond memories of Gary, writing:

"She would jump into the pool immediately after being shampooed and dried (noooooo!) then she'd do her laps (backstroke - jk doggie paddle) then lie in the grass on her back doing bunny kicks with her tongue sticking out. That meant summer to me."

Fallon and Gary shared more than a decade together. He concluded his post by writing:

"13 and a half years we were lucky to have with you. Franny, Winnie, Mommy and I miss you. The house misses you. The house is so quiet. The quiet is so loud. But that quiet is slowly being filled with stories about you and laughter amongst the sniffles. Thank you for everything. Gosh, we miss you so much. Goodnight, Gary."

Jimmy Fallon paid a heartfelt tribute to his late dog, Gary Frick Jr., remembering their 13 and a half years together. His emotional post celebrated Gary's joyful spirit and the special place she held in his family's life. Gary was not just a part of Fallon's home, but she made multiple appearances on his show as well.
