Popular Israeli actress Odeyla Halevi, known for her role as Assistant District Attorney Samantha Maroun in the American drama series Law and Order, has tied the knot with Aaron Mazor. On the Compass website, Mazor is described as “an accomplished NYC real estate agent who has been consistently recognized throughout his career as a top producer.”

The 36-year-old actress got engaged to Aaron on August 31, 2023, after meeting in a show of a mutual friend, comedian Andrew Schulz. Halevi and Aaron were invited separately to watch Andrew’s performance at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

According to Odeyla Halevi, she and her now husband, Aaron, met briefly during a break in the show and “sparks flew.” He called her “kooky,” and she immediately knew he was the man for her. Halevi announced her engagement through a goofy post she shared on her official Instagram account. She posted pictures of herself and Aaron wearing white attire and showing off her ring. The first slide showed them making goofy faces at the camera, and the other slides showed some PDA moments. The post was captioned:

“We’re no longer dating @aaron.mazor.”

More details on Odeyla Halevi and Aaron Mazon’s Jewish marriage

Odeyla Halevi and Aaron Marin got married on Friday, May 30, 2025, at Ronit Farm, Tel Aviv, Israel. According to the bride, she had always wanted a destination wedding, and getting married in Israel came naturally to the newlywed couple, who are both of Israeli origin.

“For me, Israel isn’t just a place; it’s home. It holds some of my most cherished memories. The people, the energy, the land — it’s where my heart always returns. Aaron, who’s also Jewish, has come to love it deeply as well,” she tells People magazine, which had exclusive coverage of the event.

In Talking to People, Odeyla Halevi describes how she and her husband combined wedding planning with their careers. She explained that they hired a wedding planner who handled everything when things got out of her control. The actress also revealed that getting married on Ronut Farm was exactly what they had envisioned, as they wanted a location surrounded by natural scenery and having a “quiet serenity.”

“We chose to marry in the afternoon, surrounded by nature — trees, water and the quiet serenity of the landscape. It felt like a fairy tale. The earth tones we picked were meant to reflect that setting — natural, warm and grounded.”

Odeyla Halevi walked down the aisle to a Hebrew song called “Shlemeem,” which, when translated, means "whole" in English. She wore a white strapless wedding dress by Israeli designer Lihi Hod. The dress featured a white neck scarf, a heart-shaped neckline, and a full-length skirt. Odeyla describes her dress as a “fusion of timeless elegance and modern romanticism.”
