Scarlett Moffatt has shared her wedding plans with fans, as she revealed that the preparations are already underway. Appearing in an interview with The Sun, Moffatt revealed that she is already involved in the planning for the big day and has started viewing potential venues, and has even been trying on wedding dresses.

Having dated for four years and known each other for over 15 years, Scarlett Moffatt and Scott Dobinson got engaged on November 13, 2023. The couple also has a son who was born five months prior to the couple announcing their engagement.

Scott proposed to his partner through a touching gesture. Their son Jude also played a special role in the memorable moment, and the couple has also stated that they would like their son to also be part of their wedding day. Scarlett took the news to her social pages on the day of the engagement and posted:

"Mondays are my new favourite day. Walked in to find my soulmate on one knee, with baby Jude wearing the cutest outfit asking the question “Mammy will you marry Daddy.” The most perfect proposal in my favourite place, our home. I truly am on cloud nine, feel so lucky, it feels incredible being able to share this with you all, I always wished for this!"

The engagement post of Scarlett Moffatt and Scott Dobinson was greeted with enthusiasm by the fans as it seemed to be a perfect way to crown an already incredible year for the couple, which also saw them welcome their son into the world.

While the couple hasn't settled on a definite date for the wedding, they are planning in advance. Scarlett shed light on the matter in the interview with The Sun, where she was quoted as saying:

"Do you know what, we've actually been to see a few venues. And I actually did book to go and try a wedding dress on and Scott was like, ‘but we haven't booked a venue. And I was like ‘yeah I know, but I just want to play dress up. It’s the fun part! But yeah, we’ve got lists and lists of things to do, and it changes every day. I’d hoping to do it next year but maybe that’s too adventurous? It takes a lot to plan a wedding, but I’ve got this in the bag."

Although the task of preparing a wedding can be an intimidating task to many, Scarlett Moffatt does not appear fazed by the task as she expressed her excitement on the issue to her fans. Intriguingly, her dreams about the wedding have changed with time, too. She originally had big pictures of an extravagant Willy Wonka-inspired wedding, but has since scaled back to planning a more intimate affair.
