Chinese actor and singer Yu Menglong has died after falling from a building. In a press release, Yu’s management team confirmed the shocking news on September 11, 2025. They stated that the actor had fallen to his death, ruled out any foul play and extended their condolences to his family:
"With unbearable sorrow, we announce that our beloved Menglong fell to his death on Sept 11. Police have ruled out any criminality. We hope he rests in peace and his loved ones remain strong."
Yu Menglong made his acting debut in 2011, in the short film Little Prince and went on to have an impressive acting resume, starring in hit web dramas Go Princess Go and The Legend of the White Snake.

Yu Menglong was a multihyphenate entertainer who participated in the talent competition My Show! My Style! and emerged as a Top 16 contestant for the Xi’an Province. He joined Hunan TV’s Super Boy in 2010 but got eliminated.
He dabbled in music video directing and is credited for Deanna Ding’s music video for the single 61 Seconds. His first acting role came in 2011 for the short film The Little Prince. In 2013, he returned as a contestant on the Super Boy show and emerged as a top 10 contestant in the final round.
He released his first single in the same year, titled Just Nice. He released his first album Toy in 2014 and appeared in the short film The Rules, which won the Best Independent Film Award at the International Micro Film Festival. He later starred in several series, including Eternal Love and Go Princess Go.
