Happy Gilmore 2 is refreshing, not only because of the cast but also because of its filming locations. That isn't surprising because the first film, too, featured such places of beauty. The only difference is that the first film was shot in Canada's British Columbia, and the sequel was shot in New Jersey.
The film is scheduled to release on July 25, 2025. It will bring many big faces, from actors to professional golfers, where we may even see a GOAT team assembled by the titular Happy Gilmore (Adam Sandler) against another possible GOAT team. Though we have to wait to see if Happy is going against Shooter McGavin again.
We know that Happy will be entering a championship to help someone, his daughter, actually. He has to pay for her ballet school. So let's see what places will make this special story more special.
Happy Gilmore 2 filming locations
Pleasantdale Château, West Orange

This place is actually one luxury wedding venue, though it has been used for other celebrations too. If you plan to visit this location sometime, make sure to have an appointment in advance. You can see it at the beginning of Happy Gilmore 2's trailer.
Fiddler's Elbow Country Club, Bedminster
The first location on this list is special because it is New Jersey's only private club with three 18-hole championship golf courses: The Blue-Red Course, The Gold-Silver Course, and the Forest Course.
Montclair Golf Club, Verona
Another private club featured in Happy Gilmore 2 is the Montclair Golf Club. Like the above, it too gave the filmmakers beautiful landscapes where we will see our champions up against each other.
Closter
The Daily Mail first reported on this location in the movie, where Adam Sandler was filming with his stunt double. We can't exactly say what he was up to; it is likely to be a fun sequence, given his stunt double was involved. Maybe it's that one-eyed alligator returning for his revenge.
Kearny

This location was reported by PEOPLE magazine. Sandler was seen filming with Ben Stiller's Hal L., who reprises his role from the first film as Happy's grandfather. You can see him saying in the trailer,
"Check out the nametag grandson, you're in my world now."
Verona
The place actually has an official Instagram page, and it posted a photo of the team on the platform. It was likely a wrap-up for filming there, because the post said, "Come back anytime."
Ideal Beach, Middletown Township

The last location on this list is perhaps the most picturesque and serene of all. We can see Happy practicing on the beach in the trailer, which is after the scene where Happy's boys just jump on his car. It's a fun scene.
