Where was Him filmed? Details Explored
Kira Kelly is the cinematographer of Him, and the principal photography took place in numerous locations. The principal photography concluded in November 2024, as per Vanity Fair.
1) Albuquerque, New Mexico

Albuquerque served as a prime shooting location for the film. The most populous city of New Mexico is surrounded by desert and is often a favorite shooting spot for many projects, like No Country for Old Men and Breaking Bad.
2) Truth or Consequences
This unusually named city is also in New Mexico and was chosen to shoot several portions of Him. The city was renamed after a namesake radio show and is mostly known for its hot springs. Besides these, several scenes were also filmed at Corrales, which is a village in New Mexico. It is 13 miles away from Albuquerque and consists of several landscapes suited for shooting.
3) Spaceport America
Spaceport America is a commercial spaceport located in County Road A021, that was used to shoot several scenes of the sports horror film, particularly exterior shots. All these locations were utilized to establish a contrast and offer a real feel to the interior as well as the exterior scenes in the film.

"I met Jordan back in 2017. I had just made my first feature, and he said he was really impressed and wanted to work together. We never found anything, and then I got my first-ever paid job on a set, a TV gig, and that day I got a call that my father unexpectedly passed. I now realize that I just went back to work [to avoid] processing what happened. Eventually, I got burnt out. So I wanted to get back into features and find something that is creatively rewarding."
