One Battle After Another filming locations
Humboldt County, California

Humboldt County was the primary location for most of the film's shooting. At the time when the filming began, Paul Thomas Anderson's film had a working title called BC Project. The places involved here include Murphy’s Market in Eureka and Carmela’s Mexican Restaurant in Arcata. Cutten and Trinidad are featured in the movie, but it is unclear where exactly the film was shot in these locations.
Sacramento, California

This is the exact location where a highly contentious event took place. It was for filming that an entire homeless encampment was removed, which caused Sacramento Homeless Union's President, Crystal Sanchez, to issue a statement. According to ABC 10, the official said:
"This permit should have never been given."
This is likely to be those firing range scenes where the rebels were going wild.
Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, California

It's the largest of the California State Parks, which also occupies a fifth portion of San Diego County, where One Battle After Another was filmed. The view here is surreal, and several movies, including Serenity (2005) and Into the Wild (2007), have featured this location.
Borrego Springs, California

Borrego Springs was also used for filming certain scenes of this movie. Other films that used this location include "The Desert Fox: The Story of Rommel" (1951), "The Desert Rats" (1953), and "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World" (1963).
