Australian actor Anthony LaPaglia’s third wife, Alexandra Henkel, has reportedly filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences, according to TMZ reports. Henkel, 36, is a client advisor for the jewellery and watch retail company, Jean Dousset, founded in 2006.

The couple tied the knot in 2018. According to reports, they listed September 11, 2025, as the date of their separation. Alexandra has also requested alimony from the Without a Trace actor.

The Daily Mail reported that Anthony LaPaglia’s estranged wife has requested the court to divide the earnings from the recent sale of their Los Angeles residence. However, they wish to keep their engagement ring, a Rolex watch, and other jewellery.

According to LinkedIn, Alexandra Henkel is based in Los Angeles, California, where they have been working as a client advisor at Jean Dousset since March 2024. Their office is located on Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood.

Henkel, who graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2014, is part of the sales team. Earlier, Anthony LaPaglia’s estranged wife worked as a client advisor for The Harwear Store Fine Jewellery for nearly a year.

Between 2019 and 2021, Alexandra served as an account manager at Soda Communications. They were also a script editor for Blackmarket Productions for nearly three years.

Alexandra Henkel is thirty years older than Anthony LaPaglia, who is now 66. They were married for seven years. They first met at a bar in Prahan. Melbourne and later in Adelaide in April 2015, a month after his divorce from his second wife.

Henkel and LaPaglia got engaged during a Paris trip. She later told Vogue:

“Anthony and I were staying at the Plaza Athénée Hotel. As we were preparing to head out for dinner, I was doing my make-up and turned around to find Anthony on bended knee. I said yes immediately.”

The now-estranged pair later walked down the aisle in a garden ceremony in Maui, Hawaii, in April 2018.

LaPaglia’s last post about Henkel came in February 2023 on Instagram. It featured an image of the client advisor with their dog. The post was captioned:

“With my baby and our baby on my birthday.”

Anthony LaPaglia was previously married to fellow actors

Anthony LaPaglia’s first wife was actress Cherie Michan, who is best known for her roles in Annie (1982), Dream On (1990), and Wrong Is Right (1982), according to IMDb. The duration of their marriage remains undisclosed.

Later, in 1998, he tied the knot with Australian actress, director, and producer Gia Carides, 61, after meeting her six years before in Sydney. They have a 22-year-old daughter named Bridget. The former couple announced their divorce in March 2015, after 17 years of marriage. It was finalized in June 2016.

Together, Anthony and Gia appeared in the movie Paperback Romance in 1993. Carides’ other acting credits include Strictly Ballroom, Brilliant Lies, and My Big Fat Greek Wedding, among others.


LaPaglia is best known for playing FBI special agent John ‘Jack’ Michael Malone in the CBS drama Without A Trace for seven seasons between 2002 and 2009. He also famously lent his voice to the podcast drama, True Noir: The Assassination of Anton Cermark in 2024.

Last year, he also appeared on the Netflix limited series, Boy Swallows Universe. According to the Daily Mail, his upcoming acting projects include the sci-fi musical R.U.R. and the movie The Change-Up Kid.
