Pro basketball player P.J. Washington is currently trending after his video showing a heated verbal exchange with his ex-girlfriend and son’s mother, Brittany Renner. In the one-and-a-half-minute clip, Washington was picking up his son, Paul Jermaine Washington III, from Renner’s home.

However, as soon as Brittany handed over the toddler to P.J., he began to cry. Seeing this, Renner told Washington, “Pause, this is what we’re not gonna do.”

She continued, “So, every time that he does this, I'm gonna record it because that's not okay. This is the third time he's done it. He doesn't wanna go with you, so actually show up and do something with him ‘cause he does this every time.”

However, the NBA star appeared not to pay heed to her son’s mother, walked down the path, put the kid inside his car, and tried to drive away. Washington and Renner got into a verbal altercation, including exchanging cuss words.

Later, Renner’s mother, who was seemingly capturing the video of the moment, also shared explicit exchanges. Meanwhile, Mrs. Renner called out Washington, asking him how much money he paid in child support as opposed to his new wife, Alisah Chanel.

Chanel, who is an Instagram star and a lifestyle, beauty, and fitness content creator, did not take the comment lightly. She rolled down the window of his car and fired back at Brittany and his mother.

The moment has now gone viral across social media platforms and was circulated by NFTS Media, Black Sports Online, and Shannon Sharpe’s Burner.

Washington and Renner separated a few months after their son was born in May 2021.

Alisah is the founder and owner of the activewear brand, Le’Chanel Active. She also runs a beauty salon chain called Chanel Minks and Browz across Texas.

Chanel began dating P.J. Washington in late 2021 and got engaged in August 2022. In December of that same year, their son Preston Julian was born. Alisah is now a stepmother to P.J.’s two other sons, Paul Jermaine and Aiden Licastro (born in 2017).
