Padilla took to her Instagram to post several tributes for the Father of the Bride actress. One of her posts shared on her account featured a black and white picture of her along with Keaton, which was captioned:
“I love you”
It ended with a heart emoji. Padilla shared several posts on her Instagram stories remembering the late actress. According to Entertainment Weekly, the 32-year-old added another photo with Keaton, which read:
“I will never forget you. I will always love you. And I will miss you all of the time. Thank you for everything, Diane. You changed my life.”

Born on May 27, 1993, Ashley Padilla worked as an assistant for the late Diane Keaton on some movies. Her projects with the actress included the 2024 comedy, Summer Camp, which starred Kathy Bates and Alfre Woodard. Padilla also worked on Keaton’s book titled Fashion First.
Based in the United States, Padilla graduated from Eleanor Roosevelt High School in 2018. Her parents are Randy and Jennifer Padilla. She moved to Los Angeles after her mother encouraged her to pursue comedy as her career.
Ashley Padilla has been a member of the Groundlings Theater in Los Angeles since 2021. She appeared in Season 12 of Curb Your Enthusiasm in 2024 and in an episode of the Night Court revival.
According to her IMDb profile, Padilla featured in a music video by The Lonely Island, titled "Here I Go (ft. Charlie XCX)," where she played a bystander woman. She was also seen in Shithouse and Son of Zorn.
Ashley Padilla was reportedly a part of a live sketch called Party of Three, which featured her fellow comedians Alex Bonifer and Chris Kleckner. Given its popularity, the show was invited to the Netflix Is A Joke festival.
Padilla joined SNL in September 2024 along with Emil Wakim and Jane Wickline, as per a report in Variety. Starting her journey in the show during its 50th season, Ashley Padilla continued to feature in multiple sketches in its 51st season in 2025.
She made a mark on the show’s Weekend Update segment, giving a commendable performance with her character as Jo-Ann, of fabric store fame. Her character wore a blonde wig and a vibrant green apron. Her performance was largely appreciated by the viewers.
