Bayani Casimiro Jr., a Filipino comedian and actor best known for his role as Prinsipe ng Kahilingan (Prinsipe K) on the iconic fantasy sitcom Okay Ka, Fairy Ko!, passed away on July 25, 2025. He was 57.

His sister Marilou Casimiro confirmed the news to the Philippine Entertainment Portal, according to a report in Entertainment Inquirer.

He was the son of dancer-actor Bayani Casimiro Sr., who was famously dubbed as "the Fred Astaire of the Philippines” for his acting and dancing skills. Casimiro Sr. portrayed Vicente "Edad" Kabisote Sr., who was the father of Vic Sotto’s character Vicente "Enteng" Kabisote Jr., in the Okay Ka, Fairy Ko! franchise.

His son, Bayani Casimiro Jr., followed in his footsteps after his passing in 1989. According to his IMDb profile, he was known for his appearances in Enteng Kabisote: Okay ka fairy ko... The legend in 2004, Enteng Kabisote 3: Okay ka fairy ko... The legend goes on and on and on, which was released in 2006, and Si Agimat at si Enteng Kabisote in 2010.

Bayani Casimiro Jr. was born on August 15, 1967. He was born as Arnulfo “Jude” Casimiro. He was the son and namesake of his father, Bayani Casimiro Sr.

His breakthrough role came in the late 80s when he landed a role as Principe K in Okay Ka, Fairy Ko!. Fandom reported Principe K first appeared on the sitcom in 1989, where he was sent to Earth by Ina Magenta to be Enteng's temporary ally, since Ina Magenta and Faye were required to leave Earth before the full moon.

In the 1987 sitcom, he was cast alongside Vic Sotto, Tweetie de Leon, Ruby Rodriguez, and Alice Dixson, among others. He later reprised his role in Okay Ka, Fairy Ko! Part 2 in 1992.

Bayani Casimiro Jr. featured in other Sotto projects like Fantastic Man and Bakit Ba Ganyan? (Ewan Ko Nga Ba, Darling), as well as Iskul Bukol: 20 Years After (The Ungasis and Escaleras Adventure). Several of his films and series included Juanita Banana, Martha Cecilia’s Kristine, Asboobs: Asal Bobo, and M.O.N.A.Y.

A report in Philstarlife stated that after quitting the entertainment industry, the actor went on to pursue his career as a graphic designer. In 2019, he dismissed claims that he had been begging for alms, which stemmed from a viral photo that showed him sitting on an overpass in Parañaque.

The comedian never married or had children, as reported by Philstar Global. His remains will be buried at St. Peter’s Memorial Chapel in Sucat and will be cremated on July 30, 2025. His final resting place will be at Loyola Memorial Park in Parañaque.

The death of Bayani Casimiro Jr. comes as a huge loss to the Philippine film industry. Tributes have been pouring in for the late actor on his demise.
