Hollywood actor John Travolta is now part of an explosive lawsuit that claims he and his late wife, Kelly Preston, allegedly used actress Riley Keough’s eggs to conceive their youngest son, Benjamin “Ben” Travolta.

Ben, 15, is a school student who often appears on his father’s Instagram, most recently in a reel where he was seen climbing a snowy mountainous slope in Norway.

The civil suit was filed against Elvis Presley’s ex-wife, Priscilla Presley, by her ex-business associate, Brigitte Kruse.

According to the court documents reviewed by Yahoo! News, Kruse has claimed that Travolta and Preston first tried to obtain Priscilla and Elvis’ daughter, Lisa Marie Presley’s eggs. However, when those attempts failed, the couple reportedly took the eggs of Lisa’s daughter, Riley Keough.

While John Travolta, 71, is yet to respond to the claims, primary defendant Priscilla Presley has denied that either his daughter or his granddaughter was involved in the alleged surrogacy scheme.

Not only that, but Priscilla’s attorneys have refuted the claims as “reckless and irrelevant.”

All about John Travolta’s youngest child, Ben

John Travolta met his future wife on the sets of their 1988 film, The Experts. After dating for a couple of years, he and Kelly Preston tied the knot in Paris in 1991. The couple settled in Florida.

Their eldest child, son Jett, was born a year later, followed by their only daughter, Ella Bleu, in 2000. Unfortunately, Jett passed away from a seizure during a family Christmas/ New Year vacation in the Bahamas in January 2009. He was 16.

At the time, it was revealed that Jett had autism and Kawasaki disease since he was an infant. John Travolta later credited his wife, family members, and Scientology for helping him cope with the loss.

The Pulp Fiction actor also founded the nonprofit Jett Travolta Foundation, dedicated to the memory of his late son. It is aimed at helping children with special needs.

About Jett’s untimely demise, John Travolta told BBC News that it was the

“worst thing that’s ever happened in my life.”

Benjamin Travolta was born on November 23, 2010. In the wake of his youngest kid’s arrival, John told PEOPLE Magazine he was a “miracle,” adding:

“He's given the house a renewed spirit and purpose. He's brought us a new beginning, and his presence has brought joy to all the people who have wanted the best for us.”

In July 2020, John Travolta and his two living children suffered another tragedy when Kelly Preston died from a prolonged breast cancer battle at the age of 57.

The Die Hart star later appeared on Kevin Hart’s talk show Hart to Heart and revealed that the 10-year-old Ben feared losing his father after her mother’s demise.

“Nobody knows when they're going to go or when they're going to stay. I could die tomorrow, you could, I mean, anybody can. Your brother left at 16, too young. Your mother left at 57, and that was too young. But who’s to stay,” John told his son.

Last month, Travolta celebrated Ben’s 15th birthday via an Instagram post. It showed the teenager standing against the backdrop of a snow-clad mountain in Norway.

“Happy Birthday, my dear Ben! I can’t believe how quickly you’ve grown up! I love you!” the single dad wrote in the caption.

That same month, the Grease actor also shared a video of Ben climbing a mountain.

“Ain't no mountain high enough for my son Ben. Love from Norway,” he wrote at the time.

His 25-year-old sister, Ella Bleu, shared love emojis in the comment section. John Travolta’s post was set to Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell’s hit song Ain't No Mountain High Enough.

Last year, too, Travolta celebrated Ben’s birthday on Instagram with a snap of them and their dog, Peanut. The actor also spent New Year's with his children and shared glimpses of their shared time on social media, alongside pictures from their family vacation to Argentina, New Zealand, and Australia.

During a 2019 interview with PEOPLE Magazine, John Travolta mentioned that Benjamin was an adventurous kid who loved fishing, gymnastics, tennis, and the “computer world, like most kids.”

In brief, exploring Brigitte Kruse’s lawsuit mentioning John Travolta

According to the legal documents, plaintiff Brigitte Kruse has alleged that Lisa Marie Presley’s ex-husband, Michael Lockwood, reportedly told him that John Travolta and Kelly Preston purportedly took Riley Keough’s eggs in exchange for a luxury car, a Jaguar, and an amount between $10,000 and $20,000.

The lawsuit also claims that Kelly Preston was unable to conceive on her own and initially sought Lisa’s eggs.

However, when they got to know about her history of heroin abuse, they dropped the idea. Later, the couple seemingly asked for Keough’s help.

According to Kruse, Lockwood reportedly told her about Ben Travolta’s biological origins, hoping that he could use it as leverage to come to a financial settlement with John Travolta, who would want to settle to “help salvage his career.”

Calling the allegations against Lisa and Riley “shameful” and stating they would “absolutely be addressed in court,” Priscilla Presley added via his legal counsel:

"These recent outrageous allegations have absolutely nothing to do with the claims in this case."

Whether Travolta has taken any legal action remains unknown. Meanwhile, the lawsuit involving the Presley family is ongoing and also involves Priscilla’s son, Navarone Garibaldi.
