Rapper Blueface, whose real name is Johnathan Jamall Porter, is currently dating Nevaeh Akira. On December 17, he shared a video on his Instagram Story that showed Akira with the tattoo of his first name on her neck.

Nevaeh, 24, is an Instagram star with over 162,000 followers on her @iamnevaehakira account. Her real name is Akira Williams.

However, the spelling was “Jonathan” instead of “Johnathan.” While Blueface didn’t seem to mind, his mother, Karlissa Saffold Harvey, called out Nevaeh for the mistake.

“If y’all trying to spell my son's name, just read the Bible for the spelling. John 3:16 is a famous Bible verse from the Gospel of John, stating, ‘For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him will have everlasting life,” Karissa wrote, seemingly mocking Akira.

Neither Blueface nor Nevaeh Akira has publicly addressed the misspelling or his mother’s ridicule.

All we know about Blueface’s new relationship

On Tuesday night, Blueface was seen fooling around with his new girlfriend. In the clip, Nevaeh Akira was seen saying, “Don’t start with me.” However, the rapper held up her neck and showed off the tattoo of his name, while saying:

“What? How are you doing? What is this on your neck, though? I love it. It’s fire. I’m choking the sh*t out of you tonight. Are you gonna want that forever?”

Akira responded with a wordplay, “Five-ever, n***a.”

The California rapper further asked before the video ended:

“Okay. You know you ain't doing no cover-ups, no laser removal, none of that weak sh*t. It's forever and ever? On the dead homies?”

The Thotiana artist was referring to his ex-partner, Chrisean Rock, who recently removed the tattoo of Blueface’s portrait from her face. Earlier this week, Rock shared a video of her getting the ink off using a laser procedure.

She was seen crying in pain, while saying:

“That’s what I get?”

In April, the reality TV personality appeared on the Lip Service podcast and shared she was thinking of covering up “Johnathan,” which is tattooed on her eyebrows.

"It's gonna take some time, but I'm getting rid of it," Chrisean said at the time.

Johnathan Porter and Chrisean Rock were in an on-and-off relationship for three years before calling it off in 2023. Their son, Chrisean Jesus Malone Jr, was born in September of that same year.

Chrisean has feuded with Blueface, his ex-partner Jaidyn Alexis, and his mother Karissa Saffold Harvey over the years. The rapper and Alexis share two children.

Last month, Rock even called the family “evil” during her appearance on the One Night with Steiny podcast and regretted having a child with the Find the Beat rapper.

Exploring controversies surrounding Blueface’s new girlfriend

Earlier this month, Karissa Saffold Harvey and Nevaeh Akira got into an altercation during Blueface’s welcome home party, following his release from prison on parole after two years. The event was hosted by the rapper's friend and streamer N3on in LA.

In a now-viral video, Nevaeh was seen screaming, “That b*tch pushed me.” But the rapper quickly mitigated the situation. However, later, his mother took to social media and shared her side of the story.

"Now when y'all aww what really happened don't apologize to me just suck the hemorage out my [peach emoji]."

When speculations surfaced online that Karissa and Nevaeh were feuding over Blueface, his mother clarified:

"Y'all need to stop guessing and assuming. We had an absolutely amazing night after the miscommunication."

Johnathan Porter and Akira Williams reportedly began dating in late November after he broke up with Hazel-E. The rumor about the new relationship emerged when Blueface and Nevaeh went out for a dinner date at his LA-owned restaurant, King of Crabs.

Hazel-E called Akira “trailer park trash.” Meanwhile, the Cash Money West-signed rapper took to his Instagram and publicly ended his romance with Hazel.

"I'm officially letting Hazel go from the roster. Hazel-E, you are too old to be acting this young. We're done. I'd rather be with a young b*tch," he wrote.

Hazel responded by calling Blueface a “convicted felon” in a live video posted on her Instagram Story. She added:

“I went below to f**k with you. We could put out the receipts. You bought me flights before, and you've given me money before. You just sent me five bands the other day, telling me to stay down, so I can put up with your f**k sh*t? That's not enough. It's really not enough, honey.”

Amid this drama, on December 16, Nevaeh Akira shared an Instagram Story of a black-and-white mirror selfie, sitting on the floor, and showing off a baby bump. A previous post showed a pregnancy test in the background.

The clip went viral soon after Livebitez reposted it. While the image can be from her previous pregnancy, as she is a mother to a baby boy, according to Hot 97, speculations arose about whether she’s currently pregnant and whether Blueface is the father.

However, the rapper’s mom joined the conversation and commented:

“He ain’t been out 60 days. Why would a woman want this before you even get out of parole? He thinks it’s because she loves him.”

Social media users shared similar doubts considering the timing of Porter’s release.

Neither the rapper nor Akira has responded to the speculations, as of writing.
