NBA player Dillon Brooks filed a restraining order against his ex-partner, Heather Andrews, in Los Angeles on June 25, 2025.

In his filing, as reported by the Daily Mail, he has alleged that Andrews hacked his social media accounts and destroyed his belongings. The 29-year-old also claimed that she threatened to ruin his career and cut his fingers off.

Brooks reportedly met his 33-year-old former girlfriend in 2018 at a Las Vegas nightclub. The duo started dating shortly. In his allegation, Brooks claimed that she started harassing him when she was expecting their first child.

They reportedly share two kids: Mila, aged 5, and Luna, 2, but never got married. He further alleged that he was not directly informed about the pregnancy but found out through a social media post. Brooks is often seen posting about her kids on her Instagram and TikTok accounts.

In 2023, Andrews filed for the custody of their infant daughter. Here is what we know.

Dillon Brooks’ ex Heather Andrews filed for custody of their daughter

Dillon Brooks’ ex-girlfriend Heather Andrews filed for sole custody of their daughter, Luna, in 2023, along with a request for child support, according to a report in Radar Online. However, Brooks demanded joint custody.

In her filing, Andrews allegedly said that Brooks should maintain their infant daughter on the health insurance provided to him through the Houston Rockets and/or the National Basketball Association.

According to court documents from the Tennessee Bar Association, Dillon Brooks and his former partner were also engaged in a custody battle over their five-year-old daughter, Mila Brooks. However, it is unclear if they share joint custody.

After getting pregnant with their first child, Andrews allegedly started harassing him through texts, which he claimed to be “emotionally abusive,” as reported by US Weekly.

Dillon Brooks further alleged in his complaint that she gained unauthorized access to their co-parenting app, OurFamilyWizard, and sent a false message to herself, allegedly orchestrating it to look like it came from Brooks. His request read:

“Most recently, Petitioner has obtained unauthorized access to my OurFamilyWizard (‘OFW’) account and has sent at least one false message to herself, and then actually used that message as the keystone for her current restraining order request against me.”

Dillon Brooks also claimed that she texted him from 'burner phone numbers' to seek his attention. A report in the Daily Mail stated that she allegedly apologised to Brooks after this behavior and met him in Toronto. But, he claimed that the change in her attitude was just a “rouse to get pregnant yet again.”

He then added that after being pregnant, she became 'more aggressive and threatening' again.

A report in the New York Post stated that both parties are scheduled to appear before a judge in July in Los Angeles. Brooks’ filing comes less than a year after Andrews obtained a restraining order against the NBA star, accusing him of harassment.
