Dylan Efron's sister, Olivia Efron, made a special appearance on Dancing With the Stars during the show's Dedication Night.

The reality star dedicated a contemporary dance performance to his younger sister, who is 5 years old. Dylan’s performance with his dancing partner, Daniella Karagach, in the October 14, 2025, episode was also a nod to his elder brother, Zac Efron.

The duo performed on Rewrite the Stars, originally sung by Zac and Zendaya in The Greatest Showman. In his rehearsal footage, Dylan Efron said:

“I wasn’t expecting to be a big brother. She's 5, and I'm 33. But immediately I was inseparable from her. She's everything to me. I want to show her to live her life with confidence.”

Dylan added how Zac always took care of him, and he wanted to do the same for Olivia. Their parents are Starla Baskett and David Efron. They welcomed two kids – Zac and Dylan. The couple divorced in 2016. David shares Olivia and Henry with his second wife.

Dylan Efron is the younger brother of Zac Efron. He was born on February 6, 1992, in San Luis Obispo, California. His birth name is Nicholas Dylan Harrison Efron.

In an interview with brobible, the 33-year-old shared how he decided to go by “Dylan” as his first name. He said:

“There was a time in first grade when I had to write out Nicholas and I didn’t know how. I still remember being so embarrassed because I didn’t even know how to spell my own name. I’ve always gone by Dylan. My mom was a big hippie and loved Bob Dylan, so that’s where it came from.”

Dylan Efron shares a five-year age gap with his elder brother, Zac. He was born on October 18, 1987. They were born to Starla Baskett, a secretary and David Efron, an electrical engineer. Their surname is a Hebrew and a Biblical place name, which comes from their paternal grandfather.

Both Zac and Dylan share a deep bond. During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Zac described his feelings for his brother, and said that he “love him to death.”

Unlike his brother, who is an actor, Dylan Efron is a YouTuber and is also a social media influencer. His work includes outdoor and travel adventures, according to People magazine.

After being married for 28 years, Dylan Efron’s parents divorced in 2016. His father remarried to his wife, Jenny. They welcomed a daughter on December 25, 2019. The Efron brothers often share updates on their little sister on their Instagram.
